VeilType Privacy Policy

App: VeilType
Developer: Katsura Yakov Daniilovich
Effective date: July 30, 2026

1. Product model

VeilType is a free Android keyboard and local encryption tool. It does not require an account, activation, subscription, or proprietary cloud. The production app does not request the Android INTERNET permission.

2. Data processed on your device

3. What VeilType does not do

4. Sharing and storage

Encryption and decryption occur locally. Content leaves VeilType only when you deliberately share it through an Android app or save it to a location you select. Those destination apps and services apply their own privacy policies. Temporary plaintext used for viewing or sharing is limited to the requested operation and is cleared by the app where the platform allows.

5. Permissions

VeilType requests only permissions needed for features you invoke. You may decline optional permissions; the related feature will remain unavailable. Android displays a prominent warning for every third-party keyboard because keyboards can technically receive typed text. VeilType reduces this risk by operating without the INTERNET permission and by keeping secure-compose processing local.

6. Your choices

You can disable VeilType in Android keyboard settings, clear local app data, remove locally stored profiles, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling may remove local data according to Android behavior.

7. Changes and contact

Material policy changes will be published at this URL. Privacy questions can be sent to support@truelock.pro. Do not send passwords, private keys, or sensitive plaintext in support messages.
